Dancey

With a name like Dancey, this girl was born to dance! Growing up in Texas, she began dancing with her school drill team (think Friday Night Lights style with girls in cowgirl outfits), and also danced competitively for about 10 years. After taking a hiatus from dance to pursue her education and a career in the intersection of business and social good, Dancey realized dance is way more important than money and began obsessively stalking the new pole studio opening up in Yucca Valley. Having always wanted to try this style of dance, Dancey started taking classes in June of 2022, eventually becoming certified to instruct. She now calls Desert Chrome her second home.

Her flowy, spinny style reflects how she feels about pole and what she tries to impart to students: pole is a place to find your own rhythm, sexiness, and confidence while smoothing out jagged edges of judgment from yourself or others.
